Stringbean × Visual Impact
Proven reality television production support across Southern Africa.
Stringbean Films works with Visual Impact as its local broadcast engineering and reality television solutions partner in Southern Africa. Together, we offer international producers a complete, locally supported production solution: Stringbean provides production facilitation, logistics, locations, permits, crew and regional expertise, while Visual Impact provides the equipment, engineering, technical personnel and workflows required for demanding multicamera and unscripted productions.
This partnership gives producers more than access to equipment. It provides an experienced team capable of planning, deploying and supporting complex reality television systems from the first technical assessment through filming, data management and final equipment return.

Technology designed for unscripted production
Visual Impact offers Netflix-approved camera and lens options together with ENG and cinema cameras, PTZ and robotic systems, wireless video, communications, audio, lighting, grip, multicamera control and specialist production infrastructure.
A dedicated reality television project team helps design each system around the format, location, required coverage, production schedule and budget. Visual Impact's in-house broadcast engineering workshop provides equipment testing, maintenance, repairs and rapid technical intervention, reducing the risk of equipment failure or extended production delays.
Local knowledge. Regional reach. Reliable backup.
Visual Impact operates from Cape Town and Johannesburg, while Stringbean brings extensive production and logistical knowledge across Africa. Together, the teams provide technical planning, backup equipment, engineering support and field assistance in remote locations throughout Southern Africa.
This reach matters most across the Southern African Development Community, where distance, border logistics and limited access to replacement equipment can quickly become production risks. Stringbean Films and Visual Impact provide the local knowledge, technical depth and proven reality television experience required to deliver ambitious productions safely, efficiently and at scale.
