A multi-country expedition through some of Africa's most extreme environments — from a volcano and the Danakil Depression in Ethiopia to the South African bush and Zambia's Devil's Pool. The production captured the access and adventure it came for — from the Ethiopian desert to a night surrounded by lions in South Africa and Devil's Pool in Zambia. Stringbean's planning, local relationships and on-the-ground management kept the expedition moving safely across three countries.
