Mega Marvels: Msikaba Bridge

National GeographicWild Coast, Eastern Cape, South Africa2022

The Brief

National Geographic came to South Africa to document the construction of the Msikaba Bridge, one of the country’s most significant infrastructure projects. The production needed local support across visas, logistics, staffing and coordination with the engineering and construction teams on site.

What Stringbean Did

Stringbean Films provided full production facilitation, managing crew visas, accommodation, local production staff, transport and on-the-ground logistics. We coordinated closely with the production and project teams, keeping the shoot moving while navigating the operational demands of a major construction site.

The Result

The production was delivered smoothly, giving the international team the local knowledge and support needed to focus on telling the story. Stringbean handled the complexity on the ground while maintaining a professional production environment from arrival through to wrap.
